Lucid, pale amber beer with restrained carbonation releases a dense moussy, off-white head up to one finger. Long retention maintains the thick foamy hat for a long time. The scent is very modest: I can only spot faint citrus. The taste gives more directions. I'm picking something herbal first. Pepper? Or clove? Maybe clove. Additionally, I receive grassy hops and straw, recognizable malt, lemon peel as well as pith. The body is light to light-medium. The finish lifts bitter flavors to the forefront while strong grassy nuances don't disappear anywhere either. Let's go, aftertaste, let's get some action; mash that pedal to the floor, feel electrons flow. The mouthfeel is light-medium, slightly tangy, dry and drying. It's remotely herbal and pungent. Hmmm... this is a Belgian Pale Ale, not sure what makes this Belgian though. Okayish.
