Vesna is definitely our favourite spring tradition – every year when the days start getting just a little bit warmer, we celebrate by brewing a light hoppy beer for that first outdoor drinking session. Vesna 2023 has a light, smooth body and a dry, bitter finish. As usual, we used the “big beer” amount of hops to create the same intensity in a smaller package. We relied on an American-New Zealand combo of Columbus, Mosaic and Rakau that provided an aroma of ripe mango mixed with some peaches and pine as well as an assertive resiny bitterness.
