At Trim Tab Brewing enjoying another recently released Stout. Again using real ingredients. Very small, dark head. Open glass hindered aroma, only could detect dark malt. Texture was much lighter than I was expecting. Still had softness and modestly dry feel. Dark roasted malt in abundance. A dark raw chocolate liqueur alcohol in the background. Peanut butter comes late middle and travels through the finish. Dark chocolate finishes a little stronger than early on. Enjoyed this soft yet dry Stout with the peanut butter was a bit too far in the background. It should have a more predominant role in the flavor.
