Kuparinvärinen, läpinäkyvä. Kohtuu kevyt runko, pientä pyöreyttä, maltilla humalaa.

My souvenir from Brussels a month ago. Belgian IPA. Not too common in my world of experience.
Semiclear, deep gold beer with a bit timid carbonation pushes out a bright white, whipped-creamy head that balloons two fingers high. Long retention sustains a neat lacing on the top for long.
The scent confuses my olfactory sense a bit: bitter yeast, but definitely not a Belgian strain, strong grassy hops and something odd that is like a combination of floral and vegetal nuances. Not particularly inspiring but not unwelcoming either.
The tongue sighs out of relief: better than what the scent suggests. Bitter grassy hops, yeast, grapefruit peel, lemon pith. Interesting supply. Nevertheless, when thinking of a Belgian beer, I'm missing here sugary or honey sweetness as well as fruity esters. To the contrary, this is substantially bitter and pithy.
The body is light to light-medium. The finish is bitter citrusy, bitter yeasty and dry-hoppy. The aftertaste's 32 minutes away from me; been switching lanes thinking ‘bout what it gonna say, wanna hop in the car and just get away.
The mouthfeel is somewhat light, tangy, pithy and moderately crisp. Faintly drying. Drinkable in any case.
