The can empties a turbid, peach-yellow beer in the glass. Carbonation is spritzy and unlocks a soapy off-white head that exceeds two fingers and dissolves rapidly to a thin lace ring and haze on the top. The olfactory provision portrays pineapple peel, carambola, orange and a small bit of passionfruit. There's also a berry-forward side that includes green gooseberry and green grape, both in tiny proportions. Relatively thin overall but proposes uncommon nuances, which is always a welcome effort. The flavor identity is fairly weak, as well. Orange zest, orange peel, pineapple peel, carambola and a whisper of green grape alternate on the tastebuds. Basically zesty but still somewhat uninspiring. I wonder why this Cloudwater is a clear underperformer, the reason may likely be that the best before is as soon as at the end of this month. The body is light. The finish carries an unchanged flavor medley over to the end. Yeah I'm feeling super happy now, though I don't know how long it will last; but for now, just let me taste it after all, of that sweet life. The mouthfeel is light, zesty, moderately dry and drying. Maybe also slightly pithy. Anyway, quite basic and, hence, not too attractive to me.
