I think I was previously harsh on this, or maybe a bad batch. It’s a fairly mild but very pleasant stout. Smooth, with a chocolatey roasty malt character.

Stout sympa au pub de l'île, très black, visqueuse quoique liquoreuse. Je crois que les bières artisanales françaises me manquent déjà ! 😅 C'est grave docteur ? Se boit bien !

A slightly disappointing stout - for me there’s a bit too much liquorice flavour and tartness - it’s spoiling the chocolate and malt backbone.
