I saved this deliberately last. I knew that a Helles and a Blanche wouldn't shake my stool. This White Stout is the last 🇨🇭 beer on tap here today. Well, there's one cider but I pass it. The rest are UK, Polish and Belgian beers. Not today. Not here. Well, these aren't my last 🇨🇭 beers today. I bought a couple of safe bets @ Drinks of the World at arrival. I'm pretty sure today later we'll cross the 4 star limit. Back to this beer. The beer wears a deep redcurrant juice colored dress. Transparent. I always get confused with a Stout that is not black or at least dark brown. I need more practice. I'm ready! A tiny-bubbled head decorates the surface right at pouring and even later. Retention is lengthy. White chocolate with loads of strawberry bits is the first description of the fragrance that comes to my mind. A smaller amendment of redcurrant juice and a whisper of very ripe rhubarb promise me more fruity and berry elements. Otherwise, I would argue for a Fruit Beer but the chocolatey hint confuses that idea. I'm glad it does. The gustatory profile is really fruity. I almost fail to find any chocolate. It's not dark, not even milk chocolate. Sweet white chocolate it is but considerably moderate. And the berries include strawberry, redcurrant, rhubarb (yes I know, it's not a berry) and a hint of rosehip. Interesting. Do I find wheat malt at the basement? I'm not supposed to. The body is light-medium. Not bigger than that. I wish it was. This is not even heavily adjuncted. I wish it was. More is always more except when it's less. Yeah. The end is fruity and berry-rich. Where's the choco now? I can't observe it anymore. The mouthfeel is light-medium, almost light. It's juicy, which doesn't tally with a Stout. That's what it is anyway. Rich in berries for sure. Like a Fruit Beer. Tartness is minimal. I'd say there's no tartness. A bit drying feeling maybe. And lip-glueing. I can feel it now. Ok. La Taproom experienced. It's a good place for craft beer but not necessarily 🇨🇭 beers. At least not tonight. My first choice in Geneva is obvious. This is a good second choice. And pleeeeease! Introduce 1–2 dl portions!!! 🙏🏻

White Stout plus qu'agréable, on sent en premier temps le chocolat blanc puis vient assez vite le framboise pour arrondir le tout
