Wallpapers hung successfully on the wall. Now some lunch and a beer. Pours lucid amber. Bold carbonation throws a white moussy head that exceeds one finger. Long retention keeps a dense lacing alive.
Medium-sweet malt with a biscuity twist is the dominant nuance in the air. I wonder if there's some inverted sugar syrup in the beer, namely, there is a typical sweet vibe of especially Belgian type of pale beers to my nose.
The taste profile is less dramatic than what I feared: the sweetness levels off considerably. Pale malt, biscuit, a little bit of inverted sugar syrup and a distinct hoppy note can be observed.
The body is thin. The finish lifts the hoppy segment a bit higher and, hence, gains a slightly bitter overtone. Otherwise, no noticeable difference from upfront. Bring that aftertaste back like a boom boom boom boom.
The mouthfeel is thin, faintly crisp, lip-glueing, very easy and characterless.
