A disappointing offering from Postmark. I am not overly familiar with their beers, but what I have had has been fantastic. The spruce flavours are not very pronounced. There is a vaguely resin-ish, coniferous flavour present but the hops flavours kind of overrun it. Maybe an amber ale isn't the best vehicle for a spruce tip beer? As an amber ale it would rate 3-3.5 stars, but I was looking forward to a good hit of spruce tips that just wasn't there.
