Classic english bitter malts on the nose with a touch of burnt toffee. Smooth , bitter coating of the palate. I cast my mind back to Stones Best Bitter and perhaps early Bass Mild from my drinking days as a small child in yorkshire. All in all a well balanced English Best Bitter from a extremely well regarded craft beer brewery. The guys at Verdant really are scientists , when they go into something they do it with complete integrity to the style.

Verdant on cask! Nice. Nice easy drinking and dry best bitter. Bread, malt, biscuits, caramel and citrus.
