Very regal looking, high expectations for this! Pour was unassuming and left a nice amber body with a golden hue and trace amount of foam around the rim. Scents are very muted but distinctly malty. Lots of wheat at the start, very bready. Then lots of malted barley, before some sweet biscuit rounds the malts before a faint floral note peaks through at the end. Mouthfeel is heavy, slightly syrupy with a foamy texture. There is a little warmth to it and the it leaves an oily coating in the mouth. Taste carries the same notes as the scent, and is also muted like the scent too. The bread notes dominate, very doughy, with some barley peaking through before it all fuses into an distinct lump of cereals.

Not a bad drop! Has an interesting flavour but I can get around it!!
