Flight 3/5. This beer differs a bit colorwise as it lets some light through. The hue is pale amber, at least in this dim lighting. The foamy cap is thick and messy. The fragrance is surprisingly soft and fruity for a WCIPA. Apricot is the strongest component, followed by sour kumquat and orange peel. The taste identity is grapefruity and, to some extent, lemony. I get pulp and pith but not really peel. Yes, single hop Citra tastes citrusy but, still, as if something was missing here... The body is light-medium to medium. Grapefruity and lemony flavors dominate in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is light-medium, soft, smooth, juicy, medium-tropical and slightly crisp. The WC fragment is really moderate but the overall experience is neat.
