Deep amber hue with some small head retention and visible carbonation through its hazy complexion. Orange, apricot and peach fruit on the nose with a black pepper overtone. Light and soft in the mouth with medium body and a clean medium short finish. The spicey hints give this 5.5% ABV brew some heft even if only simulated or implied. It's easy drinking and juicy but not the biggest or deepest, though I could have DIPA in mind from my most recents. Ah yes, this is a pale after all, so in that context this brew is quite flavourful. The can mentions the spice and it's an accurate advertisement, I don't know how they've done it, I've had beers with Strata and Mosaic before but this has Summit hops, I don't recall if I've had this trip of hops before so maybe it's Summits influence on the Strata and Mosaic to convert from a pine to star anise and black pepper. Easy drinking yet flavourful pale with some complexity. Arundel are doing alot of collabs recently and this is another good one.
