De-Bleaker
6.5% New England IPA / Hazy IPA
Let this hugely hopped IPA help make the world a little less bleak. Beer goggles made from the lupulin glands of the finest Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin hops bring forth mesmeric psyche waves of mango, grape, gooseberry and deeper dirtier flavour notes we, as yet, cannot attribute appropriate adjectives to. It's a delight.

Verdant tekee maukkaita miedompiakin mehuoluita. Tämäkin pale ale on tasapainoinen, mehuinen ja erittäin maukas.

I like how Nelson Sauvin makes this beer smoother. There is much more Mosaic in this beer than Nelson and you can taste it: Lots of Mosaic flavours but much smoother and balanced than beers that only have Mosaic hops.

Rich, fruity and very hoppy. Lovely colours, like a yellow tequila sunrise.

A double team brew featuring Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin. You can smell the Nelson straight away, very bright and white with Mosaic style pineapple lingering in the background. It's a very pale beer and also opaque with foamy head that reduces down into islands on the surface. Very soft and juicy in the mouth with medium body and a medium length finish. Nelson is indeed the strongest to the point of being dominant like 90/10. The gooseberry is relentless but amongst it I get a sense of wheat from the oats and barley. White grape isn't really explicit, which is a bit odd for a Nelson brew, maybe the slight impact of Mosaic or the excess of Nelson is the reason. I love Nelson Sauvin recently, so much so I'd admit being biased towards it, but only when it's constrained to a contributing hop. Saturated in Citra or Mosaic is beautiful but single hop Nelson is not, it is it's one downfall. So having this seemingly 90/10 split is too hardcore. Some may love it being almost a single hop Nelson brew. It's still very nice mind you, because of this hops unique profile. Like how Citra cuts with citrus, Nelson cuts with whiteness! It gives a sense of tropical juice like a cocktail minus the heavy and sickly liquor/liqueur. A good balance of sweetness with a slight bitterness via a Mosaic pine note. It's light but not too washed out like a pale and neither is it obnoxious like a big DIPA, so a good IPA. No word the can about it being a double dry hop but it certainly is hoppy! With Mosaic on the hot side and Nelson Sauvin on the cold side where the dry hop resides. It is nice but not terrifically exciting compared to my recent TIPAs etc. This brew shows off Nelson and consequently is flavourful and bright, quite morish even though it's not complex or deep.
