Canned Laughter, Apple & Guava Session Sour With Ed Gamble
4.2% Sour / Wild Ale
When it comes to making a beer with Vault City, nothing is off menu. That’s why we partnered with comedian, Ed Gamble, who helped bring Canned Laughter to life.
We’re big fans at Vault City HQ, and as it turns out, Ed was a fan of ours too – so we invited him to Scotland to brew his very own beer.
Together we created something juicy and refreshing, combining literally tonnes of apple and guava purée with our base beer for a huge flavour and delicately sour finish.
We're supporting C.A.L.M - Campaign Against Living Miserably with this special edition release, where 20% of sales will go to charity.

Very apple-y flavour. A pleasant amount of sourness too. I think this is the first “session sour” I’ve tried. I prefer them to have a bit more strength really. Nice though, I’d have it again 👌🏼

Une belle sour acidulée à la pomme et à la goyave, un vrai délice.
On retrouve le trouble de la pomme.

This is very appley
This is actually reminiscent of a cider
Not really getting any guava, but then it’s a fruit that I hardly have so I maybe tasting it but can’t pinpoint it
There is no discernible ‘sourness’ to this, just pleasant fruitiness
This is hardly identifiable as alcoholic, it’s extremely drinkable and ultimately sessionable
