Beer #2 of the four-pack of Raudonų Plytų Alaus Dirbtuvės. The beer is turbid, grapefruit-juice-colored. Suppressed carbonation is awake enough to produce a white, airy head that elevates up to one finger. Short retention pulls the head down to a patchy, moldy lacing. Grapefruit peel, lemon pith, a pinch of lime and distant grass constitute the olfactory package. The gustatory segment is extraordinarily citrusy: I can recognize especially grapefruit pulp and peel, restrained lime as well as lemon zest and pith. First I fail to find coconut at all but later it decides to step out into the limelight. Notwithstanding, the hop selection (Incognito, Mosaic, Citra, Sabro) unfortunately misses its full potential. The body is light, which is subpar at 6.9 %. The finish bitter citrusy, somewhat zesty but more like pithy and peely. The aftertaste refuses to go anywhere from my taste receptors in a long while. The mouthfeel is light, zesty, a tad crisp, dry and drying. Refreshing but too tangy for the New England style. A couple of shots at Devil's Museum today. 👹
