Lively when first opened much like a soda, also it's cola coloured! The aroma is very rich, at first smelling like a vanilla stout then followed by sweet cola nut. It's pretty good actually. It's not actually soda sweet but the sourness translates it well. It's not overly sharp, more of a tart finish that morphs into sweetness and even a hint of salt mingling with the vanilla at the end. It's tastes like a unbranded generic 'american cola', which I suppose isn't very beer like!...It's a soda that tastes a bit like a sour as opposed to a sour that tastes like cola. It's something a bit different and quite nice, jammy fruit and cola nut flavours amongst gentle sourness in a light body with a long finish.
