Happy Labor Day. This beer was a gift from a friend and it was actually brewed and canned by Straight to Ale for Hard Times Brewing. First time using the glass. Very high, thick, frothy head that's making me wait to try this beer. Citrus aroma. Medium dark orange color with yellow on the edges. Very hazy but no particulates. Soft texture. Seems a bit watery, lemon with a splash of orange. Middle reveals plenty of black pepper, has some hop bitterness added to it. Finish drops the softness and turns dry. As a standalone beer I probably don't recommend it. But it's combining well with my cranberry white cheddar cheese by not becoming the dominant flavor.
