Tasapainoinen ja tuhtirunkoinen olut, jossa alkoholi pysyy hyvin piilossa.

Tölkitetty 17.8.22. Toinen maisto, ensimmäinen tölkki kaatui puoliksi matolle 😂. Raikasta ja samalla pehmeää marjamehua. Oikein runsaasti marjaisuutta, alkoholi pysyy hienosti piilossa. Erinomainen sour.

Kenties paras vahva sour ikinä. Ei liian hapan, ei liian vahva vaan tasapainoinen. Hyvää uutta vuotta 2023! Tätä voi juoda myöhemminkin tänä vuonna🍺

Hazy, purple-red beer with rushed carbonation graces my evening. I can observe an off-white, porous head that climbs one finger high and waves quickly for goodbye. Then the surface is flat still. The scent is an interesting crossover of blueberry, blackcurrant, dark chocolate, cacao beans and vanilla. On one hand, the olfactory provision is milkshakey, on the other, it's slightly biscuity. After some googling, I'm educated that the intriguing medley of chocolate, cacao and vanilla originates from açai that is one of the inputs to this brew. Let's see if my tongue agrees with the nose or shall we witness a fight of the senses? Blueberry is obvious, blackcurrant less so but remotely yes. Blackberry can also be recognized in moderation. There are also earthy vibes resembling crowberry or saskatoon. Vanilla is still hanging on there but nuances of chocolate and cacao have gone missing. The taste identity is fruity and juicy but certainly not milkshakey, not biscuity. The body is astonishingly light given this clocks 8.0 %. A bolder body would bring mashy and nectar-like elements into the picture. I would certainly welcome it. When the beer turns toward an end, I find sour berries like before but now it's vanilla's turn to hide. Still extraordinary juicy. The aftertaste will take on the world and win, so hold on tight, let the flight begin. The mouthfeel is light, juicy, rich in berries, gardeny and summery. It's relatively tart and puckering, why not also moderately drying. The flavors offer nuances and layers although they all are pretty similar to each other. Solid package though! 💜💜
