Another good place. Nevertheless, this time there are only two Lambics on tap, so I'll go for two beers that — I guess — have something to do with this place. Their names suggest that. One is a DIPA and the other is a Bitter. Both 🇧🇪 The DIPA wears a transparent gold dress. (So does actually the Bitter 😅) Carbonation is reasonable, a bit lively actually, and builds a white velvety head that grows two fingers tall. Retention is lengthy. A beautiful cream layer caps the beer's previous aromas for quite a long time. The scent is relatively standard for this style: grapefruit zest, grapefruit peel and a resinous touch. That's pretty much all. The taste profile is predictable: I can spot grapefruit peel, pith and a bit of grapefruit pulp, a snap of grass and some resin. Maybe also a faint wisp of dried apricot. The cocktail is, moreover, marginally biscuity, which rounds the edges to some extent. The body is light-medium. Not too impressive. They finish gears more piney and resinous but doesn't entirely drop them citruses either. Long-standing. The mouthfeel is light-medium, medium-crisp, a tad dry and drying. It's moderately lip-glueing, too. Overall, old-school-ish and not too challenging. All fine.
