2017/2018 side by side review. 2017: Blueberry and smokiness in the aroma. Taste has blueberries and some smokiness. Decent stout base. 2018: Slightly stronger blueberry and a slight smokiness in the aroma with a touch of chocolate. Taste has blueberries and some chocolate. No smokiness in the taste, unlike the aged 2017 version. Decent stout base. While the 2017 is still pretty good, this one is better fresh and I will not age this in the future. Tasty stout with the blueberry being complimentary and not overwhelming like many others that use blueberries. 4/5

Stout au léger gout de mûres, plutot sympa en fin de bouche

This one has 3-4 months of age on it in a cellar environment. Swapped it out for one with a label on it. No clue why there isn't one. I am, however, 90% sure this is Tres Blueberry Stout. Smells like blueberries. Very sweet aroma. Perhaps a bit of chocolate underneath the blueberries. No alcohol present in the aroma. Taste has a very subtle initial blueberry taste that comes alive more in the after taste. There's some chocolate in here too. A roasty taste is also present, presumably from the malts. Well hidden alcohol booziness. It's been a while since I've had this, but I don't remember the flavor being this bland. The flavors seem muted and light. Once I get to the year mark, I'll try and aged bottle alongside a fresh one and compare. I'll give this one a 3.5/5

Pikimusta stoutti, espressomaisen ruskealla vaahdolla. Hyvältä näyttää! Tuoksussa tuhtia ja makeaa suklaakakkua, mustikkapiirakkaa, kevyesti paahdettua maltaisuutta, karamelliä sekä kahvia. Suutuntuma on silkkisen pehmeä, joskin aavistuksen laiha/vetinen. Maussa tummaa mustikka-suklaata, mustikka tuo pientä kirpeyttä makean suklaisuuden ja karamellin sekaan. Kevyesti paahdetta sekä kahvia ja hieman tummaa hedelmäisyyttä. Ilman tuota lievää vetisyyttä olut olisi 4,5 tähden arvoinen. Hyvä stout joka tapauksessa!
