Heavy black pour with a thin tan head. Bold aroma of brown sugar, caramel, yeast, and spice. Coffee. Chocolate. Smooth, creamy, modestly thick. Long generous flavour of smoked caramel followed by a bitter aftertaste. It gets overpowered by the heavy malt content after a while. Subtle hoppy tones, I expected more vibrance. Dark fruits. Raisins. Warm sticky finish. It holds its overall character. Excellent porter.

Kyllä on huikeen suklainen ja täyteläinen portteri. Suutuntumaltaan pehmeä ja paksu. Todella toimiva pitkän työviikon jälkeen.

This American Baltic Porter pours pitch black into the glass and forms a beautiful and lasting tan coloured head. The nose is malty with notes of coffee, chocolate and prunes. The flavour is quite sweet, with dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee, a hint of caramel. Bitter lasting finish. The body is full and oily. A really good porter I would love to have again!

Lähes musta, kaunis säilyvä vaahto, leipäisä, ruistaikinan juuren tuoksu. Raikas (!) porter, missä alkuun hedelmäinen ja makea, viinirypälemäinen maku, joka taittuu piparkakun kautta makujen ilotulitukseen. Ei ainakaan tylsä ja liian perinteinen porter! Kuuntele Mr. Bunglea ja nauti!
