Shared with ol’ man watching Taken 3. Think I got it in Ireland and brought it back. Lovely drop I’ve had tucked away. One of the best unfiltered to date. Lovely and strong proper lager. A: ‘4/5 for me, can taste the fruit with less horrid beer flavour’ (all said in croaky I’m in pain voice)

Very nice. Liking these unfiltered lagers lately. Pronounced womza for anyone interested.

The 'familiar but different' style of the bottle caught my eye but the word 'unfiltered' sealed the deal. The pour started easy but the head expanded too quickly and naturally reduced just as quickly. The body is dark yellow haze with an orange hue and variable, foamy white head. The scent is very malty indeed. Lots of bready malt, some sweet biscuit and a little red ale style copper at the end. Mouthfeel is peculiar, it starts flat then threads the line between being foamy and carbonated. It's actually a little dull. Taste starts a little shaky, with lots of bread flavours up front, wheat and rye, but mellows with a slight sweetness of the biscuit malt and a little honey in the mix. The label advertises 'hops' but I can't find them. An average lager.
