Vähän funkympi maku, hunajainen tuoksu. Slava Ukraini!

Solidarity beer #14 🇺🇦 🕊️☮️ 🇺🇦 The bottle looks fancy: the form of the bottle, narrow artistic label, iron-imitating seal with the brewery logo, and purple wax that covers the cap and the top of the bottle neck. The bottles are numbered, this is # 976. The beer displays itself relatively hazy, pale amber. Carbonation is fettered, and a weak, small-bubbled lace ring pops up on the surface. Retention is significantly long, the decoration basically doesn't reduce at all. The scent is somewhat restrained. Nevertheless, the nose receives dry red wine, a bit of wine barrel, a proposal of sour apple, wheat malt and a wink of brettanomyces. Additionally, a faint floral twist hovers somewhere in the background, actually as if slightly peachy. The taste is quite sour but also semisoft and fruity. I expected something raw and wild, this is not at all like that. I can spot mature red wine, somewhat watery though, soaked wine barrel, brettanomyces and distinct wheat malt. The fruity segment gives sour apple, grape and a pinch of red plum. The body is light, maybe light plus, but not even light-medium. It could well be, provided this is 7.5 %. The finish is fruity, the same fruits as upfront, but leaves the vinous and barrel nuances behind. The aftertaste hears voices because there's amalgam in its teeth. The mouthfeel is somewhat light, light-vinous, relatively tart but merely moderately puckering. It's distantly funky, a tad dry and recognizably barrel aged. Still further, the mouthfeel is surprisingly juicy, round, gentle and smooth, obviously also mature. Not a very challenging #summerbeer22 though.
