Pils, Avoine and Crystal Chocolat malts, Aramis hop and S04 yeast with added cacao. After popping the cork I immediately smelled the most intense and definite dark chocolate aroma I ever smelled in a beer. It pours a very dark murky brown to black with a nice two finger beige head that disappears quickly. Chocolate and coffee notes are not as intense as the aroma, but are certainly the in the round, malty roasted body. In the long aftertaste strong milk coffee might suddenly pop up. This might not be my favourite beer style, but you have to appreciate the quality. A beer to easily enjoy.
