Tastes like 9%, smooth at first taste, warm going down like a spirit.

Aroma reminds me of cinder toffee. Flavour is malty with a nice caramel character, finishes sweet on the palate with a wee bit of alcohol burn. A beer that's true to its style and rather nice to boot.
