Well here we go, mama didn't raise a quitter. A very heavy pour that almost foamed quickly but was easy enough to get under control. Body is deep amber a full finger of white foam and lots of bubbles up the glass. Scent is pine, almost over whelming so, with lots of deep malts poking through. Lots of caramel, biscuit, toffee and a little brown sugar. Only slight fruit notes. Mouthfeel is a little lighter than I thought it would be with an intense alcohol burn and mild carbonation. Taste is intense malt, toffee and dried fruit. Intense alcohol burn takes over then a little pineapple and pine come through at the end. Absolutely off the wall from start to finish.
