Hardy Brown Ale
5.5% Brown Ale
Made in the spirit of a classic Northern English Brown Ale, where British hops and malts dominate. Notes of breadcrust, toffee, nuts, and coffee give way to a clean easy drinking finish. For us, the Hardy Brown Ale is a perfect punctuation to a long day - we put away a lot of this beer while we built our brewery in the summer of 2014. A full flavoured beer for a full day's work. Moody Ales is a craft brewery in Port Moody, British Columbia. We are doing the same things as when we were homebrewing - making the beer we want to drink. We hope you enjoy this as much as we do. Cheers. Grains: Maris Otter Amber Pale Chocolate Victory Crystal 30 Hops: East Kent Goldings Tasting Notes: Coffee Breadcrust Coffee Almond Hazelnut Food Pairings: Pub Fare Stew Burgers Chocolate IBU 22 SRM 13 OG 13 degrees P Best served at 8 to 10 degrees Celsius

I really enjoyed this seasonal chocolaty treasure. The mature big brother to GI Lion's Winter Ale. Coffee start, chocolate finish.
