Green Shoots
7.0% New England IPA / Hazy IPA
A collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops. We adore the experience of working with new varieties of hops. Rubbing the sticky flowers between our fingers, inhaling the fresh, vibrant aromas and imagining a beer that will really bring them to life. So we're delighted to work with our friends at Yakima Chief Hops to use their experimental variety HBC 586. We've paired it with Loral to create a highly-aromatic, hazy IPA combining bright orange with guava, papaya and delicate floral notes.

Samean oranssi väri, ohut vaalean pitsinen vaahto. Tuoksussa on greippiä, yrttejä ja hieman dänkkiä. Aavistuksen "tunkkainen". Aika kuiva, sitrushedelmien kuorta, pihkaa sekä dänkkisyyttä. Ei ehkä raikkaammasta päästä. Pieni odotus hetki lasissa ja hieman tasapainoittuu. Ei mitenkään erityisen hyvä.

New beer in Pint Please. Canned on 15.3.2022 Temperature: +8 C A bit darker yellow than most Hazy IPAs. Juicy. The foam is creamy and extremely long-lasting decorating the glass with lace after it's down: 4,75/5 Aroma has plenty of tropical fruits such as papaya and pineapple in it. Also, the aroma is heavy with floral notes. Bit different than other beers and very enjoyable: 4,25/5 Mouthfeel is medium, soft, and juicy with almost no bitterness. Top-quality no doubt, although Nothing special: 4,25/5 The taste is very "green" with flavors of floral, leaves and with a hint of mint even. Not very many tropical/fruity flavors and I'd like this to have some of those in here as well. The aftertaste is soft and mild: 10/15 Everything else is very enjoyable but the most important thing - taste - was disappointing. Not that it's bad, rather it's just too one-sided with everything plant-like: 13,5/20 =36,75/50
