Transparent, pale gold beer with lush carbonation produces a silky, clean white head. The foamy tower grows first four fingers tall and descends gradually downward, still protecting the beer's precious aromas for long. The retreating head paints the glass with multiple horizontal patterns. The olfactory supply is narrow: I can only pick wheat malt and lemon zest. The same simplicity continues on the tongue but in a bit more powerful form. I find hefty lemon zest, grapefruit peel, a good dose of wheat malt and distinct lactic acid. The body is light. Quite commendable for 3.5 %. The finish is identical to upfront, nothing new here. The mouthfeel is light, zesty, medium-tart and a bit puckering. Very refreshing and sessionable. I could imagine this in my glass on a hot summer day when in need of thirst quencher. +0.4 stars extra for the low ABV without losing anything in the taste.
