A beer that spent its formative years Blitzkrieg Bopping around India and the sub-continent. Punk IPA is the beer that kick-started it. This light, golden classic has been subverted with new world hops to create an explosion of flavour. Bursts of caramel and tropical fruit with an all-out riot of grapefruit, pineapple and lychee, precede a spiky bitter finish. This is the beer that started it all - and it’s not done yet... ABV: 5.4 % Vol. Hopfen: Loral, Mosaic, Simcoe, Citra, Krush & Chinook 🔎 Sensorik 👀 Aussehen: Sattes Gold bis helles Bernstein mit leichter Trübung und einer üppigen, feinporigen weissen Schaumkrone. 👃 Geruch: Intensiv fruchtig und hopfig mit Grapefruit, Zitrus und tropischen Früchten. Dazu etwas Harz und eine dezente karamellige Malznote. 👅 Geschmack: Frisch und fruchtbetont mit Grapefruit, Mango und tropischen Anklängen. Eine leichte Malzsüsse wird von einer markanten, aber gut eingebundenen Hopfenbittere begleitet. 👄 Mundgefühl: Mittelgewichtig, spritzig und knackig mit sehr gutem Trinkfluss. 🏁 Abgang: Trocken, zitrisch und deutlich bitter mit länger nachklingender Hopfenwürze. 📝 Fazit: Ein moderner IPA-Klassiker, der mit der aktuellen 5.4%-Rezeptur nochmals überarbeitet wurde: leichter, frischer und mit einer neuen Hopfenkombination.
