🇺🇦🇺🇦 peut être un peu trop sucrée. Une ipa pas trop amère mais agréable quand même.

My solidarity pack 🇺🇦 from a webshop arrived a couple of days ago. 15 different Ukrainian craft beers by two breweries. 🕊️🍺 This is my first ever Ukrainian beer. Ok, let's crack open the first beer. The color is semilucid amber. Carbonation is laidback. A white, moussy head exceeds one finger. Retention is relatively long, which makes the lace ring kiss the glass passionately. The haze looks... moldy. The scent offers ripe fruits: apricot, grapefruit and tangerine. Biscuit waves in the distance. A resinous note is first absent but appears nicely when the beer gets warmer. The taste is equally ripe fruity: I'm getting apricot, mandarin, grapefruit as well as oat biscuit and a pinch of caramel. A resinous nuance is evident. Points clearly to the West Coast. The body is light-medium to medium. The finish follows the same route but boosts the intensity of resinous and piney elements. The aftertaste prays for peace as long as need be. The mouthfeel is crisp, ripe, resinous and classical. Old-school. Not particularly fresh but the age (> 10 weeks) can explain a part of it.
