Beer 3/4. Portrays limpid, copper. An off-white, dense moussy head exceeds easily one finger. Long retention keeps the lacing alive for quite some time. The nose receives caramel, fermented plum and a whisper of strawberry, accompanied by a hint of marshmallow. Overall, restrained but unique. The flavor medley is sour and internally conflictual: Earl Grey tea, blackcurrant leaf and sour orange peel. You see what I mean? Do I also detect a bit of passionfruit, not very juicy though? The body is light also here. The finish continues as unguided as before. Like I said, the cocktail is conflictual, as if the elements didn't play well together. On the other hand, this is adventurous and different from most of earlier experiences. The mouthfeel is light, tart, puckering, modestly vinous, barrel aged and courageous. Tasty but still not a bomb.
