Vintage 2020. Clear, bright straw cider with a lime green tint pours in the glass. Loud, sparkling carbonation gives rise to a bubbly head that finds itself at the elevation of one finger. The foam dissipates hastily to zero. The scent is straightforward: semisweet Brittany apple mash. Very juicy. The taste gives something unpleasant: very sour apple merges with alcohol and a distant perfumy twist. Sour apple is surely welcome but alcohol and perfume are not. The finish is at least as sour as upfront. The mouthfeel is tart, acidic, dry and drying. It's effervescent, especially right after pouring. It's juicy and zippy but the perfumy hint leaves an unnice impression in the mouth.
