Nice traditional ale. A bit rich but as I’m not I’m in Wethers so at least it’s £1.99 👍🏻

Knot to be sniffed at. Nice malty aroma. Malty taste with a subtle fruitiness mixed in. Slight hoppiness leading to a bitter finish. Enjoyable drink. Smooth and easy drinking session ale. Could have been a boster if it wasn't for the usual JDW curse. I swear it was going flat as I was walking back from the bar. If it was a bit more lively I would have been scoring it at around the 4 mark, but it was ruined by the lack of any life.
