Bbq beer. Fills the glass semiclear, dark straw with a grassy green hint. Carbonation is limited as I can admire an oppressed lace ring only. Soon even that is history. The scent is restrained with passionfruit and citrus zest. I wonder if it's the wheat malt that distorts the fragrance remotely meaty. It's odd and definitely unappealing. Could also signal of an off-flavor... The taste is not bad but not particularly inspiring either: I receive passionfruit juice, bowls of grapefruit pulp and pith, and surely wheat malt. There's nothing that would indicate the presence of an off-flavor. Notwithstanding, the gustatory offer is quite tame and flat as if carbonation had escaped right at the opening of the bottle. Maybe it did, the sensation is almost like that of real ale. The body is light. The finish is even a bit sweet, moderately sugared passionfruit juice, escorted by some lemon pulp and lofty wheat malt. The aftertaste drops verses like a pro and feels like a superstar. The mouthfeel is light, juicy, flat, a bit tart and mildly puckering. It's also fizzy, which is a very short-lived feature, sparingly lip-glueing and unfortunately lackluster.
