An evolution of, in our humble opinion, one of the best session sours we’ve ever made. This tart and refreshing Cloudy Lemonade is bursting with citrus flavours from fresh lemon juice and zest. Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops pair perfectly with the zingy character of our mixed fermentation base beer, creating a light and crushable, vegan friendly sour rounded off with lingering sweetness.
Reminiscent of an ice cold refreshment on a warm summer’s day, Cloudy Lemonade is enjoyable when the sun is out, and even when it’s not.

Round 2, cloudy lemonade this time.
The pour this time around is a little less sensational, plenty of body for sure but not as thick. Body is cloudy yellow with one finger of bubbly white foam and a scent that is unmistakable sour citrus. Very mild malt penetrates through the body that is entirely lemon, both sweet and sour, rounded with harshness of the rind.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, very crisp with spades of carbonation and a light syrup under current that is a nice contrast to the sour citrus. Taste is sensational lemon, equal amounts sweet and tart, neither ever overpowering the other, all to the backdrop of the decent sournprofike. The bitter peel spikes then quickly subsides as a faint berlinner weiss note rides out the aftertaste.
Not as sensational as the mango version but definitely superior on the sour front.
