Out of the Jurassic Jungle of Juice comes an apex predator with the vicious intent of slaying your palate. Death Raptor Killer IPA’s zesty, citrus fruit aroma lures you into the glassful of sweet, sweet surrender. Flavors of tangerine and grapefruit mingle with the malt backbone of pilsner, oat, and wheat. This IPA appears pleasant, but you may never escape its delicious grip.

Having this Birmingham brewery, Monday Night Brewing, at my son's house while preparing for a big trip to Texas. Just the grandson and I taking off to Houston tomorrow. Hazy orange color, citrus aroma of course, frothy head that is lasting a while. First taste has a real kick. Very hoppy, more bitterness than I prefer. Lots of citrus, mostly grapefruit, has some tropical traits, perhaps a touch of guava? I'm not a fan of hoppy, bitter IPAs, but. This isn't bad. One of the best bitter IPAs I've had. Has a little kick at 6.9%. I still like beers with a lot of flavor. The amount of citrus enables me to overlook the amount of bitterness from the hops. I'm sure that hop forward IPA lovers will adore this beer. PS: I wasn't going to buy this beer but how can you not buy something called Death Raptor? Points for smart marketing.
