Donut Stout
Donut Stout pours a deep brown with a slight mahogany around the fringe. The aroma is full of maple and vanilla with a hint of chocolate and cherry. The first sip is all about the maple. The vanilla finishes on the back of the tongue and mixes with the chocolate malt in a perfect example of a glazed chocolate donut.

Having Christmas Day kids game day. My son and I are having "split out of town beer" day, another one from Kansas City.
Short head, opaque brown color. Strong aroma of maple syrup on hot pancakes. Thin and crisp texture, not what I would expect from a stout. Flavor has a roasted quality, bittersweet, with a mellowed maple flavor. Not near as sweet or heavy as maple syrup. Finish ads some bitterness and some sourness that does not add to the enjoyment of the beer.
The aroma started out excellent but the beer never really caught up to that quality.
