Hop harvest has ended, fresh hop beer season is here! We made two separate trips to the Saaz region for bags of fresh cones to brew two wildly different beers: the first one is a traditional English Ale with a plethora of new experimental Czech aromatic varieties. We whirlpool-hopped with a combination of NŠH02, NŠH13, NŠH15 and NŠH90 to create a complex aroma of oranges and flowers with hints of spiciness and woodiness. This is supported by light toastiness of 100% premium Maris Otter malt used as a base. With just 4.6% ABV this beer can be drank by pints as a social lubricant or sipped little by little to dissect the individual flavour compounds. It’s up to you!
