Huge booze smell as soon as I opened the bottle, I knew this would be good. The pour was a little thinner than I was expecting for a BA imperial but was otherwise uneventful and left a jet black body with trace elements of mocha head. Scent is dominated by the bourbon, with some chocolate, some treacle, some brown sugar and a little dried fruit. Mouthfeel is light but intensely warm, with a slick feeling left in the mouth. Taste is a mirror of the scent. Lots of oak from the bourbon, sweet brown sugar cuts through to strike the balance. Alcohol warms the mouth almost to the point of burning but the dried fruits take the edge off and carry the aftertaste.

Kiiltäväpintaisessa tölkissä matadorin pää on saanut eläimellisen muodon. Ruskea vaahto, sysimusta juoma. Tummaa suklaatia ja kaffetta. Voima astuu esiin yhtä vaikuttavasti kuin matador areenalle - ei jää huomaamatta. Öljymäisen paksu tuntuma suussa.

Gros pétrole au mélange vanille, noix et café moelleux. C'est épais, corsé et alcooleux, très copieux.
