This has a dark roasted malt that has a burnt toffee taste. Has some light dark fruit, hints of chocolate, light licorice. Has a really light Belgium yeast/spiciness to it that us not surprising from Allagash. Has a light bitterness but it’s not really hoppy. Overall it tastes more like a schwarzbier to me.

I don’t like this kind of beer. I think it has so much dark taste.
