Our fall seasonal is our first European-style lager that we designed for Louisiana's hot or cold, wet or dry, fickle Fall weather. A pure Munich-style Dunkle, it is dark copper-to-brown in color and is rich and malty with notes of sweet chocolate and caramel.

Having a New Orleans dunkle on Duo with my son-in-law. I love dunkles and have been looking forward to this one.
Moderate head, deep reddish brown color with moderate haze. Mild roasted malt and chocolate aroma. Flavor is a very nice deep roasted malt, more like chard. Sweet caramel and only the slightest hints of chocolate. Nearing the finish the roasted bitterness becomes apparent and continues through to the end.
I've had several dunkels and few can compete with Warsteiner. This is actually a very good dunkel that I would be happy to buy and enjoy time and again.
