Whoever dreamt this grim concoction up must be still wearing a kipper tie and sporting a mullet. Thought I'd have a night off the homebrew with this, but I'm struggling to finish the bottle and it's only a 330ml. Still that's the kids stocking fillers sorted for Xmas.

The label describes the chocolate taste as unexpected and complimentary-nah I’d say unwanted and uncomplimentary If you can remember the scratch & sniff stickers that had drawings of food and ‘smelt’ like that food, well this taste reminds me of the chocolate one and that was rubbish Either have a bottle of lager or a bar of chocolate just not this

Unusual but surprisingly nice. A good balance between the sweetness of the chocolate and bitterness of the hops

Unusual is the best way to describe this. It’s a lovely golden colour with a properly chocolate aroma. It’s got a good light lager with a subtle chocolate flavour. It shouldn’t work but it does.
