Relatively hazy, yellow beer with oppressed carbonation gives a whipped-creamy head that climbs up to two fingers. The long-lasting retention guarantees a dense, moldy lacing on the top. The scent is straightforward with lemon zest, lemon pith, lactic acid and a hint of salt. Furthermore, I can pick distant sour guava and a suggestion of gherkin among the components. The taste identity shows strong lemon pulp and a smaller injection of lemon pith, escorted by quite distinct salt, lactic acid and stuffy wheat malt. The body is light minus. The finish offers citrusy characteristics, still a pinch of salt and something distantly vegetal, could actually be gherkin. The mouthfeel is light, pithy, somewhat tart, drying and rather musty. The experience starts promising but fails to meet the standards along the way. Not a winner.
