The aroma gives a lot of smoky wood and whiskey. Resemblance of an islay whiskey scent. On the background some malts, roast and cocoa. The mouthfeel is thick and oily, with medium carbonation and pretty full body. The taste is very dry, smoke very much present. Also roast, dark chocolate and spices. I also get a hint of chili and the whiskey barrel in the background. The aftertaste brings a very strong taste of bacon! Sadly I can't find the maple syrup in this one, but overall it doesn't dissapoint me. Maybe not my favourite BA Imperial Stout.
