Didn’t drink it before now because I had no idea what it was (Korn Vin Ale) as in some light it looked dark and in others it looked light. As it is, on opening and as you can see, it’s clearly a Barleywine, and a bloody good one! Stewed fruits, ripe banana, warming winter spice, caramel and biscuit. There’s a smattering of bitterness and hop character to end. Smooth and slightly heavy in the mouth yet with relatively thin body considering it’s strength/mouthfeel/intensity Wish I’d bought more…
