Esanssinen ja makeutusaineinen, mutta muuten ihan OK. Mustikka hallitsee sellaisena teiniviinamaisena häiritsevyytenä. Ei myöskään kovin sour.

Misty, deep ruby beer with well-mannered carbonation releases a minuscule-bubbled head that shows a white tint with a faint pinkish shadow. The head remains below one finger in height. The scent is mad! The label says this is a Pastry Sour, and indeed, cake is the first impression that I get. I find especially loads of blueberry and some raspberry, supported by bags of cereals and shortcrust pastry. Milk chocolate and a decent amendment of coconut flakes escort the cakey impression. The taste is unbeery. I'm prepared for sour flavors (I learned from the other beer of today) but they fade to the minimum right in the beginning. Instead, I'm getting massive blueberry juice, a spoonful of cranberry jam and some raspberry mash as for the fruity side. The grainy sphere is soft with bowls of cereals, sweet biscuit and shortcrust pastry. Hefty lactose, coconut flakes and a small amount of milk chocolate round the cocktail beautifully. ❤️💜 The body is medium. The sweetness mesmerizes my assessment seriously. The finish gives a bunch of berries, the same ones as upfront. The identical sweet cerealy bed supports them in the end. Nice although it fades away fairly rapidly. The mouthfeel is medium-full, sappy, lip-glueing, juicy and rich in berries. The mouthfeel is also soft, thick, somewhat creamy and smooth. As such, this is very much like a smoothie. It's really summery but works beautifully also in the winter. Yes, this is unbeery. I don't detect malt and hops at all. The question is whether a beer that is so far away from the beery flavors is actually a good beer. Many beerstyles have their constants. A "pastry sour", in turn, seems to have only variables. Complexity is never something to look for in these kind of beers. Since we are talking about a modern innovation rather than a classical beerstyle, I can't condemn this beer for being unbeery. I rather rate it in relation to other Sour Ales and how I happen to enjoy it. I like innovative beers. From this perspective, this beer is awesome! 💜❤️💜
