Hyvä perussour, hiukan jää vetiseksi, mutta kivan karkkisa maku

Hyvin paksu, erittäin baaninen, jossa kirpeä lime ja mustaherukka. En vain ole sourin ystävä.

The beer bears a pretty color, like watermelon pulp. It goes without saying that the appearance is otherwise fully foggy. Carbonation is really mediocre, could be because of the very low temperature of the beer. The head reaches mere half a finger and dissipates rushedly away.
Blackcurrant emanates boldly to the nostrils. It's full and sweet as if blackcurrant jam. I can also find bags of raspberry among the olfactory components. Sweet mushy cantaloupe and ripe banana constitute a sweet-leaning foundation for the experience.
The taste profile takes me with surprise: I can surely read what the label says — "Fruit Sour" — but I didn't somehow anticipate sourness after such a fruit mash fragrance. Still, the palate gives sour blackcurrant, blackberry, a bit of green apple and lactic acid. Banana retreats timidly to the sidelines but fails to go entirely camouflaged. A wheaty hint follows behind.
The body is light. The finish offers berries with a distinct sour vibe. Blackcurrant is evident, banana not really. The end pushes through a narrower bottleneck and becomes one- dimensional. The aftertaste looks at the wintry scenery at dawn and feels blessed.
The mouthfeel is light, juicy, rich in berries, medium-tart and a bit puckering. it's also acidic and slightly drying. Crushable for sure, also sessionable as this has only 4 % and is easy-drinking.
The rating reflects the fact that the beer delivers what it promises, and those elements are not particularly easy to squeeze into the flavor universe. Moreover, I like the low ABV. As such, this is successful.

Mustaherukan ja banaanin liitto toimii hyvin 👍🏻
