Forgotten I’d had this before. Still interesting.

Hoppy and malty with hints of chocolate.

Despite being a ‘lager’ it had a lovely deep colour and strong flavours. Don’t be out off by the lager name. It’s a very good beer

Despite its namesake, it pours dark brown in colour with a cream coloured head. Aroma has hints of malts. Flavour is malty, hoppy and spicy.

Well it’s interesting to say the least. A full range of complex flavours including a strong flavour of puff wheat. Slightly smoky and deep. Lovely colour.
